ImgAff

Publisher activation

Connect the catalogue. Then make the right images shoppable.

ImgAff needs a verified site, at least one affiliate product feed you choose, and a small installation on that site. WordPress is the recommended path; manual setup stays available.

1 Verify the publisher site

Create your publisher account with the website URL you manage. Add the verification file to that site's root to unlock feed uploads and live matching.

2 Choose the product catalogue

Upload a supported affiliate product feed, or connect a feed URL that ImgAff can refresh. The products and tracked links in those feeds are the only ones ImgAff considers for your site.

3 Recommended for WordPress: use the plugin

Install the ImgAff plugin in WordPress, paste the API key from your portal, and choose the overlay presentation. The plugin adds the widget without requiring theme-file edits.

Already using the plugin? Continue in the publisher portal and watch for your first eligible match.

4 Manual path: preview before changing the template

Paste your API key (from the portal's Embed Code page). It never leaves your browser โ€” this page only uses it to build your personal preview button and snippet.

๐Ÿ” Preview ImgAff

Drag the preview button to your bookmarks bar, open your verified website, and click it โ€” overlays appear on matching images. (Works on your registered domain; sites with a strict CSP need the manual script in step 5 instead.)

Enter your API key above to get your preview bookmarklet and embed code.

5 Manual path: add the script to go live

Once the verified account and product feed are ready, paste this before </body> in your template:

Your snippet appears here once you enter your API key.

6 Improve the matching signal

ImgAff uses image descriptions and nearby context to search your feeds. The Image Targeting Guide explains how accurate, reader-first descriptions help matching without sacrificing accessibility. ImgAff still shows nothing when a sufficiently relevant product is not available.
